My name is Aoife McCabe.
I am a qualified Interior Designer specialising in Residential and Hospitality design.
OAST began its journey in 2020 as Olive and Thistle Interiors, a small interior design consultancy. In November 2020 we decided to commission a group of smaller-scale, Irish artists to create an exclusive piece for our new online store. The ‘ACUSHLA’ range was a huge success and received massive support over Christmas. This led to a second ACUSHLA range of exclusive Irish prints in Spring 2021.
Olive and Thistle Interiors grew as a homewares brand and aimed to provide unique and eye-catching home accessories.
O&T naturally blossomed into OAST in August 2021. OAST continues to focus on unusual and out of the ordinary tableware and home décor. OAST is about being glam, fab and different.
OAST studio continues to provide design consultancy services for residential and hospitality projects, creating concepts that dare our clients to be different.

OAST Studio offers a fully-certified interior design service where we partner with you to create your dream interiors.
We aim to build a concept based on your needs and desires and above all we pride ourselves on our ability to take our clients out of their comfort zones.
We aim to create intuitive interiors that encapsulate and inspire. Creative designs are the result of meaningful dialogue and trust between the interior designer and the client. OAST work alongside the client from the beginning to establish style preferences and desires for their space.

#togetherACUSHLA is a design initiative to encourage the use of Irish art and design when decorating interiors. The first ACUSHLA range saw a group of six Irish artists come together and create exclusive prints and ceramics.
Over the Christmas period of 2020, there was a huge push for buying Irish and the ACUSHLA range was a huge success.
SPRING 2021 saw another set of exclusive prints by
a new group of artists. These prints can only be
bought here and in doing so, you are supporting smaller Irish creatives.
